We can turn your show around quickly and provide a high resolution USB or digital download. The best thing to do is give our friendly team a call and we can quickly explain how we can film your show and ask any quick questions we need to give you a price and options. Wether you are a nursery school looking to film the Christmas production or a Dance Competition with over 500 dancers we approach every job with the highest of standards.


We use multiple cameras and an audio feed to give everybody a front row seat. We invest heavily in the latest and greatest technology to make your record your show in broadcast quality. We also believe in working with you, so if you require any additional footage whilst we are there (such as interviews or behind the scenes) to use to promote your school we often do this for free.


The show will then be edited together from multiple cameras and sold as copies (see prices below)

Answer a few questions about your show, restrictions and requirements

Decide on a price, then take orders and payment yourself (this way we can keep the administration, fees and ultimately price down). If you would prefer us to take the orders then we setup a unique webpage and charge the USB price rated above.

We will film and edit your production (turnaround within 72 hours)

We will deliver your USBs, download links and DVDs to you

Our Show Filming Pricing and Options

  • Three Ways of Pricing
    We offer 3 different option when booking us to film your show

    1) You collect orders/ payment and set your own price per copy sold onto of the price we charge. Not only does our production services not cost your school a penny (costs are covered by copy purchases), we have found that our low price point enables the school to add up-to 30% onto the price, without most parents finding the price expensive.

    2) We sell the orders through our website. We setup a unique webpage where parents can pre-order or purchase digital download copies. You hand out this on an email to the parents and print the link in the programme / hang up poster we provide with the QR code. We often offer a preorder discount rate , so we have an idea of orders before the show.

    3) You pay a filming fee. A one of filming fee based on location, duration and number of cameras needed. We provide you with a high quality download of the show and you then have the rights to sell or distribute as you wish. School who choose this option because they require their parents to not use their mobile phones to record during the show and either provide the shows film as a service or add its cost onto the ticket price.

  • Pay A Production Price and Receive Unlimited Download
    You may wish to cover the cost of filming the production and to provide copies. We can either agree a price based on a set number of physical copies or on an unlimited amount of downloads. Price is also dependant on factors such as the length of the show and the time it will take us to produce. Many of our dance academy's choose this option and then add the cost to the ticket price of seeing the show, enabling everyone who attends the show access to a download and also a profit can be made for the dance school onto of the cost of filming.


    The prices below are for when you sell the copies directly. When we sell via our portal we charge the downloads at the USB price below.

About 20 Media

We are dance show and school production filming professionals, we have been filming large scale theatre, dance shows as well as nursery, school and college plays for over 20 years. Our camera operators are amongst the most experienced in filming live productions in the UK, regularly filming live concerts and events for broadcast. Having a vast knowledge and experience helps in any live production, as issues such as lighting and sound problems can be overcome quickly.

We will always use multiple cameras and cameramen if the space will allow, this produces a range of shots from the wide which is great for an overview and tighter shots to see the emotion and individual performers big moments.

On USB or Download


With DVD you were always restricted to a lower quality image. The advantage of files on a USB is that it of much higher quality and the fact it can be plugged directly into the TV or Computer for playback.

We can now also provide “extra bonus features” on the USB such as behind the scenes interviews, WIDE camera view/ outakes etc. (this can be discussed for each production)
Our Approach

We recognise the balance between seeing the overall show and the individual performances. This is why we use not only a mixture on angles but also wide to tight framing. We always follow the main plot, capturing every performers big moment. Having multiple operators and 3-4 cameras therefore enables us to capture tighter shots of the performers without missing any of the storyline.

Sound is Just as Important

We make sure we plug into your sound desk when appropriate, yet we also capture sound from our own microphones placed close to your performing area(s) . We make sure we capture the best sound possible within the restrictions on the day.

Flexible To Your Requirements

Every dance company, theatre group or prep school approach shows differently and we are flexible in our approach and pricing policy.

Several schools we film have shows per year group spanning several days, we offer a service and custom pricing so that they can have every show all filmed as a single booking.

We understand that our usual 30 order minimum is usually unattainable for this format, especially for a small school. So you can have 2 separate shows filmed on the same day with a minimum sale of 20 orders for each show (or 40 orders shared across the two shows) , 3 shows would be a 60 order minimum and so on.




Year 6 Productions - Fixed Price Cost

We understand reaching a minimum order number of 30 for year 6 productions is often unrealistic. That is why we now offer a fixed price rate on production and provide you with a link for everyone to download in full definition. This way everybody involved in this important moment can receive a copy to keep of the highest quality.

School may decide to provide this to the parents or to add this cost on to the ticket price of the show. Call us to discuss requirements and costs.
